As an elite performance coach and mentor, Chris Anstey has had a successful sporting career for the past 17 years which has included representing in the NBA, Russian and Spanish basketball associations.
A 2-time Olympian and World Champion, Chris has represented the Melbourne Tigers, South East Melbourne Magic and the Victoria Titans in the Australian NBL. He retired as a 2-time Championship winning captain and MVP, with an impressive 3 NBL titles to his name.
In 2012 Chris became the team’s head coach and has coached basketball teams from professional men to junior girls professional tennis players and golfers.
Melissa Barbieri is one of Australia’s most capped female footballers, making 86 appearances over 13 years for the Australian National Football team – The Matildas. Melissa has played in 4 FIFA Women’s World Cups and represented at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Currently Melissa plays in the W-League for Melbourne City and works as the team Assistant Coach.
Passionate about coaching the next generation of footballers and providing quality training programs, Melissa spends time facilitating private coaching to schools and running her own clinics.
With her high level of experience and ability to comprehensively articulate the game, Melissa has been sought-after commentator and has appeared on ABC Offsiders and Channel 7 and SBS coverage of the World Cup.
Melissa is currently working with ABC Grandstand and is a regular contributor for SBS The World Game website.
Tilly McDonnell has played in the SSN League for the Giants since 2019 and is a current member of the under 21’s World Youth Cup Squad.
A tenacious player that has achieved enormous success and recognition on the court with an impressive start to her netball career at such a young age.
When not playing netball, Tilly is passionate about her academic studies underway in combined Law and Psychology at the University of New South Wales and was awarded the UNSW Female Athlete of the Year in 2020.
